The new Bajaj CT 110 is powered by the 115cc, single-cylinder, DTS-i engine and will be available in less than a week.
Bajaj is coming out with its new CT model and is already available in select dealerships. The CT110 will have two options – the kick-start and electric-start, with an ex-showroom price (Pune) of Rs 38,300 and Rs 44,500 respectively. The on-road prices are Rs 53,261 and Rs 56,781 respectively.
The CT110 will be running the 115cc motor which was used on the Discover at first and also on the Platina in late 2018. This new bike will be the most affordable of the three and is expected to have similar power figures of 8.6hp and 9.81Nm of torque, like that on the Platina. However, this bike uses a 4-speed unit with an all-down gear-shift pattern unlike the 5-speed gearbox from Platina.
The CT110 has a bit different physical features from the CT100, getting a rubber tank-pad and the engine, gearbox, fork, and wheels have now completely become black. It now also has larger crash guards, rubber mirror covers, upswept exhaust and thicker padding on the seat and the bike is also equipped with fork gaiters, “semi-knobby” tyres which are claimed to enable “a firm and stable grip on the toughest of roads”.
The Bajaj CT110 is coming in three colours – Matte olive green (with yellow decals), Gloss ebony black (with blue decals) and Gloss flame red (with bright red decals). It is expected to release officially within a week.
