Salman Khan’s Appeal against CJM Rural Court’s verdict on Blackbuck Poaching Case to be heard today in Jodhpur

The actor had filed the appeal in February this year against the alleged blame of killing black buck while he was shooting for his film Hum Sath Sath Hai starring Tabu, Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, and Neelam among others.

Rajasthan High Court has announced to give its verdict today against the appeal filed by the actor Salman Khan. The actor had filed the appeal in February this year against the alleged blame of killing black buck while he was shooting for his film Hum Sath Sath Hai starring Tabu, Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, and Neelam among others.

Rajasthan High Court declared Salman Khan guilty of the killing and announced the verdict of 5 years. Last year in April, he even spent a night in jail after he was blamed to have killed the endangered species.

The incident took place in Kankani near Jodhpur in 1998. However, in the last hearing, while his co-actors who were present there at the time of the shooting were declared innocent, Salman Khan was found guilty under Khan was charged under Section 51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act of the Penal Code.

After the Rajasthan court announced its verdict, the actor filed an appeal to Session’s Court against Rajasthan High Court for wrongly pushing him into the case.

As per the latest reports, the hearing against Rajasthan High Court is scheduled for today in Jodhpur itself. Earlier, the actor was to be heard in February however it was postponed to April 3.
